C-PAP Connector

Challenge

During the pandemic many hospitals shared a critically low supply for C-PAP connectors. As the hospitals faced numerous difficulties in securing alternative supply chains for these medical grade polypropylene C-PAP connectors we wanted to help. So during March and April, we focused on helping out hospitals across the southwest by providing contingency connectors for C-PAP machines.

Outcome

We swiftly designed and fabricated components within days for use on existing machines, contributing to the evaluation of their suitability for the rapid production of durable alternatives to the conventional supply chain.
