Welcome to Kings Wharf, the Quay Exeter. We elected to host our Devon studio in an old building instead of a custom new office, for sustainability reasons. In fact the building itself on the quayside, a repurposed maritime warehouse was built in 1835.
Exeter itself is a vibrant university city, located in the heart of Devon, England. One of the first things you notice about this stunning city is its rich history, dating back to the Roman period, which is palpable at every turn, Roman walls still standing in ruins.
The centrepiece of the city, Exeter Cathedral, is an impressive example of Gothic architecture, its magnificent presence a testament to centuries of history and culture. The Cathedral Green is a peaceful spot, great for a picnic lunch or simply to rest, surrounded by charming shops and cafes.
As you might expect it was not simply the fresh air and beach life that appealed when we opened our offices here in 2015. Exeter has a thriving creative and tech scene. In many ways Exeter acts as the tech and engineering hub to the far south west, Devon , Dorset and Cornwall. All of which have great maritime and military contract engineering industry. We are member of the British Marine which is fantastic for supporting the yacht and maritime industry with our design development and prototyping expertise. Looking for product design in Exeter? We'd love to help!
