Nvidia Cosmos AI Model (Best of CES award winner)
Nvidia took centre stage at CES, earning the official Best of CES award for their groundbreaking Cosmos AI model. Cosmos serves as a foundational AI system, enabling robots and autonomous vehicles to comprehend and navigate the physical world. Trained on an impressive 20 million hours of video, it leverages generative AI to transform digital models of roads, factories, homes, and other real-world environments into realistic simulations. This innovation automates the creation of training data, advancing how robots understand and interact with the world around them.
RTX50-Series Graphics Cards
In addition to unveiling their groundbreaking Cosmos AI, Nvidia made waves in computing with the launch of their next-generation RTX graphics cards. Leading the lineup is the flagship RTX 5090, accompanied by the RTX 5080, 5070 Ti, and 5070. The RTX 5090 delivers a monumental performance leap, boasting 92 billion transistors and the ability to execute over 3,352trillion AI operations per second—double the speed of its predecessor. Flint Paper Batteries (Best of CES Sustainability Winner)
Flint made waves at CES by unveiling their flexible, rechargeable paper batteries—a potential game-changer that could one day replace lithium-ion batteries in devices like smartwatches and smartphones. Beyond being innovative, Flint’s paper batteries hold the promise of significantly benefiting the environment, earning them the Best of CES Sustainability award. At the heart of their design is cellulose, a natural material that facilitates ion transfer between the anode and cathode. Unlike the environmentally harmful mining and production of lithium batteries, Flint’s paper batteries are more eco-friendly to produce and dispose of, biodegrading completely within six weeks.

Have we finally achieved smart glasses that actually look like regular glasses? Halliday might just have cracked the code. Circular is also innovating the way users find their perfect fit. Instead of the typical plastic sizing kit, they’ve introduced a digital ring sizing function that works seamlessly with your smartphone, making the sizing process more convenient and accurate.
Over-the-counter Glucose Monitors
Two health tech leaders, Dexcom and Abbott, unveiled affordable and accessible over-the-counter glucose monitors at CES 2025,offering life-changing solutions for people managing diabetes or insulin-related health conditions.
Dexcom introduced the Stelo, a continuous glucose monitor that tracks levels 24/7 through a small, flexible wire inserted under the skin using a simple applicator. Each Stelo sensor lasts up to 30 days and connects to a companion app that delivers real-time readings.
Abbott showcased the Lingo, a similar device designed for non-insulin users. With a 14-day wear duration, the Lingo provides personalized health recommendations based on glucose data, empowering users to make healthier lifestyle choices. Both devices mark a significant step forward in making glucose monitoring more accessible and user-friendly.
Hisense Mini Led Tv
Hisense stole the spotlight with their enormous 136-inch TV, featuring the revolutionary MicroLED technology, the latest advancement in display formats. The Chinese tech giant is positioning it as the first MicroLED display designed for everyday home cinema enthusiasts. With stunning colour accuracy that rivals OLED and significantly reduced glare, this TV pushes the boundaries of what’s possible in home entertainment. Hisense claims it delivers an impressive 10,000 nits of maximum brightness and 95 percent coverage of theBT.2020 colour space, the industry standard favoured by filmmakers.

LeafyPod
LeafyPod is an AI-powered self-watering plant pot designed to take the guesswork out of plant care, making it easier to keep your plants thriving. Simply plant your greenery, use the accompanying app to identify your plant, and fill the reservoir, which holds enough water for up to four weeks. After a few watering sessions, the pot learns the plant’s unique needs and creates a customized watering schedule. It even has a clever feature that allows your plant to "communicate" with you—if it needs more light or a different location due to changes in the environment, the app will notify you, ensuring your plant always gets the care it requires.
Saros Z70 Robot Vacuum
Introducing the first-ever robot vacuum with a retractable arm, designed to pick up objects from the floor and move them to another spot. In the demo booth, it amazed onlookers by picking up an impressive number of socks. This feature eliminates the need to clear the floor before running the vacuum, saving you time and effort. It could also put an end to the frustrating task of fishing out coins, Legos, and other small items from your vacuum’s dust bin.
Xpeng Aeroht
Chinese company Xpeng Aeroht unveiled its hybrid car featuring an electric vertical take off and landing (eVOTL) aircraft. By simply opening the truck's boot, the eVOTL unfolds and is ready for take off. This two-seater flying vehicle boasts a 620-mile range, and the hybrid truck can charge the eVOTL up to six times. Xpeng Aeroht plans to begin mass production of this modular hybrid flying car, with deliveries set for 2026. The price is expected to be just under $300,000,offering a futuristic blend of road and air travel.
Tenet's AI Laundry Robots
Tenet has unveiled a game-changing solution for one of our most mundane daily tasks with their new laundry robots. The smaller of the two robots, egg-shaped in design, features a mechanical arm that dries your clothes inside the machine. Even more impressively, the company claims this robot can also fold your clothes, taking laundry day convenience to an entirely new level.
TCL Ai Mi
The Ai Mi (pronounced "Amy") is undoubtedly one of the most adorable robots at CES, with its egg-shaped body and small, penguin-like arms. TCL designed it as an emotional support companion for children, and it features a voice and eyes that mimic those of a human child. The company also states that Ai Mi can be used to control smart home devices or record vlogs to capture those family moments, making it both a comforting and functional addition to the home.
Nike X Hyperice
The Nike x Hyperice shoes are a pair of smart recovery boots designed to make foot and calf recovery more mobile, eliminating the need for heating pads or compression socks. Instead of sitting on the couch with your feet elevated, these boots allow you to enjoy the benefits of heat and compression while on the go. Battery-powered, the boots are designed for both warm-ups and post-workout recovery. Nike explains that the boots feature a "system of dual-air Normatec bladders bonded to warming elements" to distribute heat evenly throughout, offering a convenient and effective recovery solution.
Samsung Stretchy Display
Samsung introduced an entirely new concept with its stretchable screen technology that transforms 2D images into 3D experiences. During the demo, they showcased two examples: one featuring the Las Vegas sphere and another of a shark swimming toward the viewer. While it’s still in the conceptual stage and its path to becoming a commercial product remains uncertain, this stretchable display offers an exciting glimpse into the potential future of interactive, dynamic screens.
Beatbot Robot Turtle
Beatbot, known for its consumer-grade pool cleaning robots, is taking on a much bigger challenge with its latest concept. This new, solar-powered robot is designed to swim in bodies of water, monitoring water quality and biodiversity. While still in the concept stage, this robot could potentially be used for a range of environmental tasks, such as assessing conditions after oil spills, surveying disaster damage, and tracking endangered species in their natural habitats. If successful, it could become a powerful tool in environmental monitoring and conservation efforts.
