We Are Kicking Of 2026 With A Bang

As the year draws to a close, we’re already looking ahead to what’s next.

2026 is shaping up to be a busy and exciting year for FLYNN. There’s real momentum building around edge technologies, IOT and the physical products that bring them to life. More organisations are thinking seriously about how these technologies are deployed in the real world not just whether they work, but how they scale, how they’re experienced in the field, and how they represent the brand behind them.

We’re starting the year exactly where we like to be: in conversation. Listening, learning, and working alongside teams who are turning complex systems into practical, well-considered products. From CES in Las Vegas to the launch of our Edge Tech Industrial Design Sprint, the focus for 2026 is clear, thoughtful industrial design applied early, with long-term impact in mind.

Kicking off 2026 at CES, Las Vegas

We’re heading to CES to start the year, and we’re excited to be there.

CES remains one of the few places where the entire technology ecosystem comes together, from global manufacturers and system integrators to startups pushing new ideas into the market. For us, it’s less about chasing trends and more about being present: meeting exhibitors, reconnecting with partners, and having the early conversations that often shape the year ahead.

We’re looking forward to soaking up the atmosphere, seeing how the industry is evolving, and spending time with people who are developing physical products.

If you’re attending, let’s grab a coffee!

What’s next: The Edge Tech Industrial Design Sprint

Following CES, we’re kicking of the Edge Tech Industrial Design Sprint, a focused initiative designed to help organisations bring clarity, consistency and quality to their edge deployments.

The edge tech ecosystem is moving quickly. MSPs and system integrators are increasingly under pressure to deliver solutions that are not only reliable, but also repeatable, branded and ready to scale. While the underlying technologies, from Peplink and Cradlepoint to Teltonika and Starlink, are powerful, the physical hardware experience around them often grows organically, leading to variation and inefficiency over time.

The Edge Tech Industrial Design Sprint exists to address that gap.

It’s a structured, time-bound programme by FLYNN that helps teams transform functional assemblies into refined, manufacturable products that communicate reliability, quality and brand value in every installation.

A £30,000 design sprint, including prototype build

To mark the launch, we’re offering something significant.

One company will receive a full Edge Tech Industrial Design Sprint worth £30,000, including a functional prototype build. But the value doesn’t stop with the winner, every organisation that takes part gains expert insight into their current deployment.

How the Sprint works

The Sprint is designed to deliver clarity and momentum at every stage:

1. Register for the webinar (your entry)

Registering for the webinar is your entry into the Sprint. Register here

2. Join the live webinar — 29 January 2026

In this session, we’ll explore:

• The challenges of scaling edge deployments

• Why industrial design is becoming a competitive advantage

• What the Sprint involves and how it delivers value

3. Submit your current deployment

After the webinar, submit your existing installation or hardware setup to be in with a chance of winning the £30k Sprint.

4. Receive a professional review

Every entrant receives:

• A deployment review

• Feedback on consistency, usability and manufacturability

• Brand and market alignment insights

For many teams, this alone highlights issues that quietly limit scale.

5. Shortlisted design audit

A select group of entrants will be invited to a deeper design session where we:

• Explore challenges in more detail

• Discuss design directions

• Identify opportunities for repeatability and brand strength

6. One winner selected

One company will receive a £30k end-to-end design and prototype package, delivered by FLYNN.

We’ll take your off-the-shelf edge technology and:

• Refine the design for brand identity, usability and field performance

• Deliver a prototype ready for in-field testing within six weeks

• Provide a roadmap to bring the product to market

Why take part?

If you’re deploying advanced edge technology, your hardware should reflect that from the moment it’s installed.

The Edge Tech Industrial Design Sprint is designed to help you:

• Strengthen your brand in the field

• Improve deployment consistency

• Reduce installer variation

• Prepare for component changes

• Build hardware that scales globally

Whether you win or not, you’ll leave with a clearer understanding of how your current hardware setup can evolve.
